Our students are just the best! Every day I look forward to seeing my kindergartners' excited and motivated faces coming through the door. My kindergartners come in with a wide range of skills, though most have already attended preschool, for some being in my classroom will be their first school environment.
We are a small community school, and most of our students live in the surrounding neighborhoods.
Because of that our students quickly become like family to each other. We are a Title I school and also a scholarship school for students outside of our zone. Because of this we have a wonderfully diverse population which I feel helps to strengthen the community within our school.
My Project
These materials will help my students by completing our iPad and listening stations. Technology is a must-have in our modern world and providing these tools for my kindergarten students will help to better prepare them for the future. We have so many great resources that we can be using online, but we need the additional resources to access it all! Having an iPad station in our classroom will help with that.
Kids need fun and engaging hands-on materials!
These additional resources, such as geoboards and Wedgit 3-D puzzles, will provide the brain building interactive learning that these young students need.
