Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are bright, energetic, and ready to learn when they walk into my classroom each day! Our school is a Title l school where 68% of the students are on free and reduced breakfast and lunch.
All my students enjoy fun, hands-on and engaging educational resources.
Since all students are different, they need various materials to help them learn in their own learning style to help them grow and be successful. Materials that can be used by students independently or in pairs that are hands-on makes their learning fun and engaging.
My Project
The supplies I am requesting will have a direct impact on my students. By using the supplies to create different resources and fun and engaging learning centers. The card stock and different colored paper will be use in making differentiated and engaging learning centers that students will use daily. The laminator will also be used in making the differentiate learning centers.
This project also includes more choices in where and how to sit for my students.
This allows them to take ownership of their learning environment and choose the best place for the students to learn and grow. The magnetic money will be used during math and help my students gain a better understanding of the different coins we study in first grade.
