Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach at a Title I school in East San Jose. A majority of my students are first-generation Americans with hardworking immigrant parents. Seventy percent of the students at my school are receiving free or reduced-priced lunch.
I teach a wonderful group of Kindergarten students.
My students are hard working and enthusiastic learners. They are easily motivated and enjoy attending school every day. They are always excited to try and learn new concepts. My students inspire me every day to be a better teacher.
My Project
My students enjoy learning all subjects in school. They come to school everyday, ready and excited to learn. I can't believe that the school year is almost over but my students still have a lot more to learn. I am requesting for everyday school supplies such as pencils, craft paper and glue sticks so that my students can continue to learn with the necessary supplies they need. We need glue sticks and pencils for everyday art, writing and math activities. We also need staplers to help collate packets for student work and homework. Your donation to this project will my students finish the school year strong.
