My students need office supplies for daily assignments: Copy paper, colored copy paper, story paper, pencils, paper bins, extended stapler and laminating sheets.
This class is amazing. We start out morning be do an interactive math board, read the poem of the week, and end our morning routine with a chapter of Junie B. Jones which the class has grown very fond of. They are disappointed if we run out of time and can't see what Junie B. is up to.
This year I have one of the best classes I have ever had.
They come in with smiles on their faces and are great listeners throughout the day. We are always laugh and having a great time in class. They have all grow so much academically already this year. I anxious to see what the end of the year will bring.
My Project
The supplies that I am asking for will help in many ways. With limited funds we often run out of paper, pencils, markers, lamination, etc. Without many of these supplies student have to either go without or I am spending my own money to purchase. The materials will be used across all curriculum.
Having new pencils, work station games limited, paper to make books and math journals, and even a stapler to staple projects and reading books together will greatly impact my students.
I often find myself hunting for new pencils. (First graders like to chew them and I need to replace them often!). Our school often runs out of paper which leaves me not being able to do some of the lessons I would like to do with the student.
