This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I work at a title one school that is very economically diverse. Our number of students that receive free and reduced-price meals is large and has increased in recent years. However, in spite of any challenges that they may face, my students are eager to learn, energetic, and enthusiastic individuals!
They have a thirst for knowledge and are determined to achieve success, which in turn motivates me to be the best that I can be.
Please help make a difference in the the lives of these young scholars.
My Project
Since so many of my students come from low income families, they do not come to school with the supplies needed to be successful at school. I provide as many of the supplies that I can, but it becomes a financial burden for my family.
Every single item on this list I have bought with my own money this year!
I do it because I want my students to have everything for them to succeed! All of these materials are essential to provide quality learning experiences for my students. Thank you for taking an interest in my students and their education!
