My students need tabletops organizers, remote to better access the Smartboard, laminating pouches for station games, other supplies for Math and ELA stations.
Some days can be very time consuming trying to organize and make the most out of the time we have in the classroom. Being organized saves times and teaches students to become organized in their studies as well.
I teach at a TItle 1 school with a high poverty index.
My students have a love for learning and love coming to school. I try to provide my students not only with higher education but also life skills. They are very good at taking care of all the supplies in the classroom and deserve the best that I can give them!
My Project
Some of my students are not able to provide basic supplies such as pencils, crayons, and scissors for the classroom. Therefore, I place the supplies out around the classroom for students to get and use as needed. I am trying to organize the classroom so that I can save myself and students time finding the supplies placed around the room. I am requesting tabletop organizers to help keep supplies orderly and takes the worry away from getting behind on an assignment and from stopping my teaching to find what the student needs as well. With the Smartboard remote that I am requesting students will be able to hold the remote and control the Smartboard from their desk. I am also requesting laminating sheets. Each week I make new reading and math stations for my students. To preserve the stations I laminate them so I can use them over and over. I also am requesting durable folders to use for stations. The supplies I am requesting will help our classroom get organized.
With your donation to my project you will help the classroom become organized.
It will teach the life skill of the importance of being organized. It will also help save time and provide a location for all supplies that the students need.
