This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We need help restocking some of our basic classroom supplies!

My students are in middle school, and they have tons of energy!

We are an inner city school, and we have limited resources and available supplies. I have many students come through my class each day, and it can be very challenging to provide supplies for such a large number of students.

My Project

I am requesting paper, markers, glue, and other art materials. Having adequate supplies is essential in the art classroom so that students can explore and express their creativity. My students need paper and new markers for our drawing and painting activities. We also need glue, buttons, and mosaic tiles to work on sculpture projects which my students in the past have enjoyed.

This project is important because I want my students to experience a wide range or art activities.

My students have a lot of energy and art is a time where they can channel their energy into something that expresses their ideas and who they are.
