Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My fifth grade students are hard working and strive to do their best work. They work hard to grasp new concepts and enjoy collaborating with fellow classmates to use their reasoning skills to solve problems. They also like "to play teacher" to show and to explain to their classmates the steps they followed to find the solution to the problem.

It is important for me to be an advocate for my students' learning by supplying them with materials that will allow them to reach their academic goals.

These school supplies will ensure that they will have the needed resources to complete assignments and projects through the end of the school year.
