I teach science to a diverse group of 119 sixth graders. They come from a variety of different backgrounds. Each one is unique and beautiful in their own way. Over half of our students receive free or reduced lunch.
They are full of curiosity and love to explore and learn new things.
Science is both exciting and challenging to them. They are truly an amazing group! My goal is to provide them with the tools they need to be successful. They are our future!
My Project
My students are in need of supplies!
Many of my students don't have access to basic supplies they need everyday for class.
This includes tape, colored pencils, highlighters, pencils, and sticky notes for their science interactive notebooks. Interactive notebooks are very important to our class. Interactive notebooks are an engaging way for students to take control of their own learning. They also allow for creativity.
Our class is also in need of lysol wipes and paper towels for cleaning and disinfection. I often have to supply these items, and it can get very expensive.
Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support!
