My students need a good classroom rug. Right now, we are using a dirty old rug. We would also like supplies for calendar time and test dividers.

My Students
I work in a lovely IB elementary school in the quaint beach town of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Many people paint a picture in their minds' of the students that I teach. For the most part, they are usually wrong. Yes, I work in a lovely town. Many of the students I teach face poverty and many other trials. Despite this fact, I have a wonderful class of students who enjoying reading and arts and crafts. There are a plethora of English Language learners in my school who do their best to learn English and learn the curriculum! Please support our classroom. We appreciate it very much!
My Project
Currently, my students are sitting on an old rug that has been damaged by 2 hurricanes. I have divided where the students are suppose to sit with duct tape (which becomes a big distraction for the kids). We would love to have a carpet that is clean and teaches us our sounds. Also, my students are currently using old ripped up folders to divide to give them privacy when they are taking a test. The students would love to have nice sturdy test dividers. Lastly, my students would love a new calendar to engage in their favorite part of the day, Calendar Time. Ours is currently falling apart.
