My students need supplies such as pencil sharpeners, pencils, index cards, and other basic school supplies to help them become successful and responsible learners
My students are full of life & energy. They are excited about discovering new things and are determined to become successful learners. Many of my students come from a low socioeconomic homes and parents are unable to donate extra classroom supplies. My students enjoy reading about current events and problems in our society. They like proposing possible solutions to these situations. With the proper classroom supplies my students will continue to be able to discover possible solutions and create different projects.
My Project
I am requesting basic classroom supplies such as a pencil sharpener, pencils, markers, index cards and other items. Having these supplies will help ensure that my students are able to accomplish Carver's goal for every student to Believe, Achieve, and Succeed. This year my students will continue implementing personalized learning strategies that will allow them to learn the content material at a personal level and at their own pace. This style of learning allows students to receive a tailored learning environment, instead of a traditional "one-size-fits-all" classroom. Having basic classroom supplies is essential to meeting the individual needs of students. Ensuring that my students have the proper supplies and materials for class leads to a wonderful learning experience.
