Every morning in my classroom, I start off by greeting each student with a hello! I believe as a teacher it is important to recognize each student by name, giving them a sense of worth in my classroom. I want students to feel valued and cared for!
My students come from many diverse backgrounds.
We have a diverse group of scholars who come in at all different levels and abilities. My classroom has twenty-five students in it. The community I work in is a welcoming, warm, and compassionate community.
In this project I am asking for help in donating supplies to the classroom. This year I ordered all my supplies on DonorsChoose so parents did not feel obligated to donate supplies to the classroom. In the community where I teacher it is challenging to get all the supplies and often I am left scrounging for supplies for the classroom. We are asking for crayons, pencils, markers and colored pencils to help restock our classroom and give students the creative tools to help them learn.
Students need supplies to help engage them in learning.
With donating to this project you are helping students learn. When students have supplies they will be able to accomplish work and engage in learning.
