Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every day, my students start off in our gathering circle. After they take care of "housekeeping," we come together to discuss what we will be learning about today. They can't wait to start the fun learning. This is our motto: Listen, Think, and Try!
My students come from a variety of backgrounds.
They range from students who are learning the English language (ELL/ESL students) to ones who are special education students and everyone in between. The school is a very supportive school, and we try to meet the needs of all our students.
My Project
My students will be using these wonderful supplies for the upcoming school year. The writing journals are to track their writing over the year. We will be writing daily and the journal will be compact and easy to store in the classroom. The pencil pouches will help house their pencils and sight word rings.
We will be using our new book bins to hold these wonderful supplies.
The bins will be handy when we read, do our writing workshop or practice independently. The chime will be used as a signal foe when the students need to transition from one learning activity to another. Thank you for consideration!
