My students need basic supplies such as 120 glue sticks, 2 packs of pencils, 10 correction tapes and a box of 100 poster boards to be successful in school.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Pencils, pens, gluesticks, paper...and the list goes on. Back to school supplies that we all get every year. Problem? Most of my students can't afford to get them and come to school empty handed.
My students are amazing kids.
Most of them have very little when it comes to tools they need to be successful in the classroom. We are a Title I school and 100% of our student population qualifies for free lunch.
As a teacher, I try to make sure that I supply my students with everything they need to learn as much as possible in my classroom. Previous gifts have made a tremendous difference and have gotten the kids crazy-excited about learning. Your gift makes a difference and is appreciated!
My Project
I am asking for 120 gluesticks, 2 packs of pencils, 10 correction tapes and a box of 100 poster boards; all basic supplies that students need to be successful in my class and other classes.
Past projects have supplied us with scissors, colored pencils, markers and supply boxes that my students do a great job of taking care of, but we are to a point where the stash I keep is gone!
We need your help!
My students want to be successful, but lack the basic supplies to do so. I am simply asking for supplies so that they can start on a level playing field when it comes to having what they need to create work they can be proud of.
