Supplies for Supporting Successful Science Students

My students need basic school supplies for our science classroom. This includes paper, folders, pens, pencils, rulers, and calculators for each student.

My Students

My students are curious and excited about learning. They are always asking really great questions and find interesting connections to the real world. They love completing lab experiments and other hands on activities. They are eager to try new things and consider new ideas. As much as possible, I try to focus lessons around inquiry and investigations of real life phenomena. Then students create evidence-based explanations of what they have observed. My students really enjoy and look forward to new explorations each week.

My Project

This project includes supplies that will supplement what my students can bring to the classroom, better allowing the class to function successfully. This project provides paper, pens, and pencils for students to complete work. Folders, labels, and supply caddies will help students to be organized and will reduce transition times, allowing the classroom to function more efficiently. Rulers and calculators will help them take measurements and perform math operations.

Supplies like these allow each one of my students to have dignity, independence, and an equal footing when entering our classroom.

With these supplies, we will be able to complete classwork that builds each day on previous ideas. Having these basic, yet necessary, supplies ensures all students have a strong opportunity to learn in my class and accomplish their goals.
