We want success in Math!!! Our school is currently considered an approaching target school (federal differentiated model based on QDI scores) due to the lack of growth over the past two years in the area of Math. We need more math games and manipulatives to engage our students in learning.
Our students are hard workers.
Our students will succeed when given the chance and resources they need to understand and apply the material. Our school is very diverse covering all ends of the financial and culture spectrum. The common thread is the desire to learn regardless of their background.
My Project
I am requesting whiteboards to engage all students in participating in class discussion by displaying their response on the whiteboard. Students enjoy writing on the whiteboards versus on paper. I will also use the whiteboards for team competitions which really motivates the students to work together and to participate. The dividers will enhance the level of integrity and focus in the classroom.
Our project is important because our students desire to show the world that they are learning and growing.
They are able to fairly compete with their peers all across the nation when they receive a fair chance. You can assist with their fair chance by providing the resources to help their learning.
