This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are halfway through the year, and it has been a whirl wind! I'm excited to see the growth and progress my students are making. Teaching in a Title 1 school, where almost all of my students come from low income families, can be challenging. They don't always have the basic classroom supplies needed, and either have to borrow from a friend, or wait until supplies are available.

I would love to have these extra supplies available for them to use at any given time.

Pencils may seem like something that is readily available, BUT it's amazing how fast they go through them! I'm hoping that by having mechanical pencils, they will last longer and get us through the end of the year!
