My students are determined, energetic learners with a passion to explore and grow. Despite the hardships they face, my students walk into the classroom each day with big smiles, ready to learn!
My school is an inner-city school with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch.
Many students live in poverty, struggle with the English language and have extremely limited resources. Some of my students are homeless or in foster care. Others are new to the country, while some live with a caretaker other than their parent.
My Project
Our school district has decided to begin the 2020-2021 school year with 100% of students participating in remote learning. The materials I have requested will help my students and I stay on track during remote learning.
Taking away the worry about where supplies will come from will be a great start to this school year!
The pouches will be used by the students to store pencils, crayons, glue sticks, and other supplies necessary for remote learning. The notebook will be used to respond to reading questions during ELA. The folder will keep all graphic organizers in one place and readily available. The desk supplies will help me stay organized as I embark on this new adventure of remote learning.
