Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new class. The students at our school come from very low income families and have a lot of difficulty purchasing even the basic necessities.
I will be teaching a group of English language learners who need differentiated instruction to help them learn the language and curriculum.
Hands-on activities will greatly benefit them and help build the foundation they need in order to succeed this year and in the future.
I hope to inspire my new group of students and instill in them a sense of excitement when learning! Any donation would greatly enhance my students' learning experience, and I can assure you these children will truly appreciate anything they receive.
My Project
Please help me purchase the supplies for my students to start off the new school year and a cart to organize it all so they will easily be able to find what they need. We are requesting construction paper, colored pencils, crayons, storage containers and motivational stickers.
My classroom is organized in colors so by having the rainbow colored supplies and drawers, my new students will easily be able to fall into a routine and find everything without struggling.
My students come from very low income families and have difficulty purchasing the basic necessities for the school year. Having these supplies already in the room will relieve their parents of the burden of purchasing them.
Children love to color with new crayons and are more eager to complete assignments with a brightly colored pencil. A motivational sticker waiting for them at the end of their task is a wonderful incentive that keeps them working and trying their best.
