Help me give my students basic art supplies so they can express themselves creatively!

Our students arrive at the art room every day excited and ready to learn. They are incredibly talented young artists and truly thrive artistically. It's essential that our kids have the resources necessary to express themselves creatively. High quality art education is crucial to the development of all children, but especially those who may not have the same resources outside of school. Our school is a Title 1 school, meaning all of our kids qualify for free lunch because they live in high poverty. Many of our students are routinely exposed to to traumas such as gun violence and homelessness (just to name a few). Educational inequality is arguably one of the most pressing social justice issues of our time. To help overcome this, it is absolutely essential that our school provide the highest quality of art education possible. Your support can help us ensure that socioeconomic factors do not hinder our students’ achievement!
Tempera paint cakes, paint brushes and construction paper are basic supplies and often considered to be fundamentals in an elementary school art room. These supplies are easy to use and great for use by young learners as they develop their artistic skills and confidence. Tempera paint and construction paper provide endless and highly versatile project opportunities! Unfortunately, these supplies are also fairly expensive when used by hundreds of children daily (thousands throughout the course of the school year). Our budget for art supplies does often not permit for the replenishing/re-ordering of construction paper and tempera paint cakes as needed. By providing us with tempera paint cakes, paint brushes and construction paper, you can ensure that our kids are well stocked with the supplies necessary to creatively express themselves all year long!
