I teach Kindergarten-4th grade students with emotional disturbances. I have had most of my students for over a year now and we have established a classroom culture of kindness and caring. Along with teaching my students academics, I also teach them how to self-regulate their emotions. We are not just working towards being good students, we are working towards being exceptional citizens. My students work very hard to meet their goals and it is a pleasure to watch them grow!
My Project
As the school year comes to a close our supplies are running low. We need supplies to get us through the end of the year and through summer school. I have also included a magnet tileset that will spark some creativity in my students. Other items included in my project are colored paper for reusable lesson items, lamination sheets, stamps for students who do not prefer writing, washable ink pads for use with the letter stamps, and letter magnets for spelling practice and word work. These are items that all of my students (kindergarten-4th grade) can utilize in our classroom.
