“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” ~Nelson Mandela
My students are caring, hard-working, creative, and enthusiastic fifth graders who want to do their best and make the world a better place.
Our school receives 100% funding for free breakfast and lunch for all students. My students have a wide range of ability levels, backgrounds, and interests, and they simply cannot all learn in the same way or with the same materials.
Providing more opportunities for collaboration, creative expression, and the ability to share their knowledge will greatly benefit my students! Most of my students face challenges outside of school, and I want to do all I can to make them feel loved, valued, and successful inside my classroom.
To make sure all of our students have the supplies they need to practice and review math facts and other important concepts, we need a new supply of Expo dry erase markers and dry erase pockets. A lot of our students cannot afford these basic supplies, so your donations to our project help to make sure all students are able to succeed and reach their goals.
Students have the opportunity to collaborate with their classmates and put their creativity to work during STEM challenges each week, but we need new supplies to make this happen.
Our challenges require lots of tape and glue to be able to bring their ideas to life. It's amazing to see what their imaginations come up with when students are engaged in the STEM challenges we give them.
