This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Teaching in a low-income, high poverty school district comes with many challenges as well as many rewards! They come to school excited and ready to learn. They are always on the go, ready to move around and explore. Since my students are facing obstacles in and out of the classroom, I strive to establish a positive learning environment where every child can succeed!
My students are incredibly sweet, determined, and smart.
They deserve the best, and I can't wait to watch them achieve their hopes and dreams!
My Project
The Expo markers are greatly needed in my classroom. We use dry erase markers to solve our math problems on our desks! This makes learning so much more engaging and fun when students are allowed to write on top of their desks! However, this means that we also need more Clorox wipes in order to clean our desks after math.
These supplies will go a long way to make our math lessons fun and engaging!
It is incredible to see my students working hard solving math problems. Since my students start the year with very little supplies, these would help us out so much!
