My students are very hard working, and I have several kids that love to read! They all want to do well in school and are always excited to learn new things. They are supportive of each other and have helped create a great community in our classroom! There are just a few things I need that will help me tend to individual student needs. I know that when each of my students are taken care of and in the best environment for them, they can learn.
My Project
These materials will help my class in many ways. The headphones are great to help with students that tend to be sensitive to sound. The books will give my students more options to choose to read, and I chose ones that I know are popular for 5th graders. The kick bands are great for students with ADHD or just need to fidget a little while learning. I will use the cart to better organize and store student resources. The math manipulatives will be perfect for hands-on learning and can be used many different ways when learning and reviewing math concepts.
