All of the children in my classroom love to learn. Each student has a method and environment in which they learn best and this varies greatly. In the classroom I incorporate a variety of learning strategies such as group work, alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met! The students are truly an incredible group!
Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.
They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.
I am SO lucky and THANKFUL to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
The SUPPLIES for SUCCESS are for our classroom to help the students succeed in their learning environment, whether it be choosing where to sit to be able to focus or having the supplies needed to finish an assignment. Working in a low poverty area of Florida, the students sometimes come to school without the supplies needed to achieve the success that each student is capable of. With these supplies the students will be able to come to school without having to worry about not having what they need each day to complete their assignments. The students will each need an individual pencil box to keep their supplies since the students will not be using a desk with flexible seating. Supplies such as erasers caps, dry erase board clipboards, whiteboard erasers and balance balls are needed to use while sitting at their flexible seats. The classroom doorbell is for making our transitions quicker & easier in the classroom to move from one center/subject to the next.
Donating to our classroom project, will not only help to improve student attention & focus, but increase their ability to stay on task with the supplies the students need.
