I teach in a city school with students from all different backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses. Not every student has the same resources to bring to school and we have hit the mid year slump where we need to restock supplies!
Halfway thru the year, teachers start running out of supplies bought at the beginning of the year.
We need to restock much needed supplies like Kleenex, hand sanitizer, notebook paper, pencils, colored paper, binder, markers, colored pencils and so much more that have already been depleted!
My Project
We need binders, pencils, paper - white and in a variety of colors. My students need more of these supplies to finish the year out STRONG! Every year supplies get depleted about half way through. This year, I would like to replenish these supplies so students have every thing that they need to do projects and be good students.
If students do not have the right resources, they cannot be as successful as other students who have everything at their disposal.
I want ALL of my students to be successful so I will make sure that they get the resources that they need.
