Being in the heart of one of the poorest school districts in New Jersey, it is hard to find enough resources for our students.
My students need your help to ensure their success this year.
However, working in an environment with limited resources makes this difficult for them. My students have such a drive to learn and a passion for school and it would mean the world to them if you could help us!
My Project
In our classroom, my students watch videos of concepts being taught to help all learners understand the skills they are learning. But, we currently have to watch it together as a class because they don't all have their own headphones. With your generous donations, we will have a classroom set of headphones to help assist in watching and learning at their own pace.
Because of your donation, students will benefit by learning how to pull information out of video clips, which is an essential PARCC skill.
Students will be able to practice watching and listening to videos clips with their headphones to gather information before taking the PARCC assessment in the spring. Also, my students do a lot of projects and illustrating in both their math and science class, so they need colored pencils to help bring their creations to life. Students will be able to improve their hands on learning skills with all of your help!
