This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a special needs program for children with autism, emotional disturbance, learning disabilities, and other special education classifications. Additionally, my kids come from impoverished communities, which adds another layer of challenge. Despite all of this, my students come to school ready & willing to work on a daily basis.

My students need a variety of new supplies for their art room.

We are requesting scissors, colored pencils, construction paper, duct tape, post-it notes, markers, crayons, and poster board. All of these supplies will help my students create their masterpieces. Thank you so much!
