This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are vivacious 11th and 12th graders. They are in my AP English Composition and ERWC. They love my classroom, because it reminds them of a safe, warm, cozy place to learn and thrive in. They love good lighting and cozy reading corners.

My Project

These are basic supplies for my classroom to help facilitate the learning of my students. My students come from very poor neighborhoods of southeast Fresno. Having access to nice pens and post-it notes or laminating their poetry is going to make their year!! My AP students make a lot of posters for AP Exam preparation. Using the sharpies and poster paper will help them tremendously. The EL learners will also gain from the visuals of these posters. Thank you so much for considering this project--we are so thankful to the donors.
