My school is full of multicultural events throughout the school year. My parents and students work hard to maintain their culture. Parents have various ethnic backgrounds and families from India, China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Korea. My parents are supportive, respectful, and helpful. I have student families who greatly value the quality of education for their child and appreciate the time and effort put in.
My students LOVE to read, write, and create.
They are bright children with great motivation who come to school everyday ready to learn. They have a great desire to succeed. We do this by displaying their work nicely on the walls for a positive classroom environment. The students at my school are friendly, encouraging, and helpful to others. They are curious about the world around them. I have student jobs for each of my students to encourage independence.
In the classroom, we would put the supplies to great use. I would GREATLY appreciate your support and generosity towards my classroom supplies. Thank you so much!
My Project
I am looking to support my classroom with supplies from Amazon Business, Lakeshore, Scholastic (reading material), and Blick (art supplies). My students are appreciative, dedicated, and I know they would put these supplies to great use.
My goal is to improve my classroom for my hard-working students, who have gone through a lot this year (home learning).
I have asked for some Gold Rush items, such as metallic gold paint and paint brushes for rock painting, along with craft sticks for making frames. I've also asked for some 1849-style decor to add to the classroom setting. I am hoping to get some old-style pens for the students to try writing with, as was done during the Gold Rush (no feathers, though).
Printer ink is always a necessity in my classroom. I am always trying to find new activities/art projects to print out for the students throughout the school year. I've requested some everyday useful items, such as white out and white board erasers/markers.
Scholastic reading material and Lakeshore seating is requested for reading time/DEAR. My students LOVE to read. I know they would appreciate these items for classroom use on a daily/weekly basis! Sometimes it is a challenge to have the students stop reading and put away their books.
