Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are the best ever! They come into the room with big smiles and are always ready to learn! They have impressed me so much over the past year.
They work hard and always try their best!
My students are an energetic and enthusiastic group of seven and eight-year-olds who are eager to learn with hands-on experiences. They thrive on authentic opportunities to learn the basic skills they will need for the rest of their lives.
My job is to support the skills they already have and to develop them into successful adults. I want to provide my students with opportunities to be excited about learning and school.
My Project
These supplies will keep my students excited for learning, even though it's not in the classroom. Providing my students with hands-on learning supplies will keep them engaged at home, striving to do their second grade best!
Please help me give my students hands-on learning kits that will inspire engaging learning activities at home.
These materials will allow my students to participate and be engaged with materials at home, from using dry erase sleeves to complete classwork together to themed art projects. We will use watercolors, pastels, model magic and other items to keep up student engagement while learning at home.
These are trying times for everyone and I want to help my families out as much as possible.
