My Students

My students are 8th graders in a public middle school. These students are typical youths who are finding their way in the world while, at the same time, striving for academic success. While balancing social lives and lives outside of school, these students come to school every day to work hard to be the best students they can be.

These students are the future.

However, they need some help to ensure they all work to their potential and stay on track. I want my students to remain inspired, to see the big picture, and to work to make their dreams come true. These are exceptional young people that I teach, and I truly believe that they all have the potential to do great things.

Our school serves students in grades 6-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment. As a result, we are very proud of all of our students' outstanding achievements. My personal goal as an English and history teacher aligns with our school goal of preparing our students for success in high school, college, and beyond.

My Project

As a teacher, my job is to always look to do better. I learn, not only, from one year of teaching to the next, but from one period of teaching to the next.

I am always looking to improve myself as a teacher and the environment in which my students learn every day.

How can I expect my students to keep on learning and growing, if I don't provide an environment and supplies for them to do just that? I am looking for supplies that will help my classroom run in a way that really is there for the students. Students should have enough supplies available to them, where they CAN be creative without restriction.

Additionally, my students deserve an environment where they don't have to worry about bringing their own supplies to school in order to learn. In this project, I ask for a variety of school supplies so that my students can have equal access to them all. I am asking for many of these supplies so that I can bring more creativity and innovation into my classroom. I look forward to my students having access to awesome new supplies!
