Supplies for Classroom/E-Learning Activities and Interactive Notebooks
Help me give my students composition notebooks for organized note taking, and dry erase materials that can be used in the classroom or at home for e-learning.
I teach in a small school in Northern Indiana. I am currently teaching 8th Grade Math and Algebra I. I have found that through a combination of enthusiasm on my part and active involvement on their part, any student can be successful in my classroom.
I think it is important that students are actively involved in the learning process, and using interactive notebooks and dry erase boards regularly in class helps keeps students engaged and focused on learning.
In addition, I want my students to feel valued and know that they can achieve unlimited success in everything that they do. I want to find a way to provide them with everything they need to be successful.
My Project
At this point, no one is 100% sure what school is going to look like this coming Fall. If we are back in the classroom, I am guessing that shared supplies are going to be discouraged if not prohibited, so each of my students will need their own dedicated marker and dry erase board that they will keep with them. Also, I have provided my students with their own composition book for their interactive notebooks for the last 6 years.
It is important that students are provided with all the tools they need to thrive no matter what the learning environment is.
If we are not back in the classroom this Fall, these items can be distributed to my students to better facilitate e-learning. Students will have the ability to do their work and share it more easily over video conferencing technology and will have a dedicated place to take notes and do their work for my class.
