Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The thing that makes my students special is that they have a desire to learn, but most importantly they want to learn through discovery. With discovery they have to have basic needs met in school. My students love to learn and they love to try. They want to get good grades and learn. They are willing to do things over and over until they understand something.
My Project
These materials are to help our students to be able to create and foster a sense of learning through making things. Also there are supplies that some of my students need to learn like lead refills and paper. They will not have to feel like they can do something because they don't have the stuff; it takes stress off their shoulders.
In 6th grade we learn about Egypt, and the students create pyramids that they get to make and then present to the school through artwork.
We will use the paper, paint, glue and other materials to help create these pyramids.
