This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach a class full of inquisitive and active sixth graders. We live in a small community in Mississippi. This makes it challenging to find donations. Although our county and community do a fantastic job of trying to supply our needs, it is difficult to get everything we would like to have.

My students are the future of our area and I want all of them to be successful.

My students work hard and they are excited and eager to learn.

In order to change our area for the better, we must do it through our children. One way this can happen is by equipping them with the best resources possible.

My Project

I want to continue to provide my students with the basic classroom supplies to finish the school. The students in my school have a lot of things to focus on and school supplies should not be one of them.

We have a goal to show growth on the upcoming benchmark tests and I want my students to focus on that.

Students will use the ink pens during writing practice. The hole puncher will allow them to keep their work together. Your donations will help my students stay focused on our goal and finish the school year strong.
