My Students

My students are hard workers! The students that attend my school come from a variety of backgrounds. Some live in homes, others in apartments. Some need a lot of help and attention, while others have siblings that test into the accelerated learner program at the school beginning in 1st grade. I love teaching students that are so diverse in ability and culture!

My Project

The supplies I have chosen for my project will benefit all of my kindergarteners. These students have never had a "normal" school year. I am excited to help give them these items to help them learn and grow, and also feel a part of a bigger class and school culture.

We use crayons every day in our classroom and also in the art area.

These twistable crayons are a great resource because they last for more than a single year.

These supplies will also help my students feel a part of our classroom by creating class t-shirts that can be decorated and signed by their friends and peers. We will also use these t-shirts for our field trip to the Zoo- the first field trip in over two years!
