No glue? No scissors? No markers? No fun! My first grade students need a classroom stocked with basic supplies.
My first grade students with learning difficulties are eager to learn.
Because we are a new school in a high poverty area with minimal resources, our classroom lacks basic supplies for learning and teaching. Many students have difficult home situations and our school strives to create a safe welcoming place for everyone to learn.
My students need a replenishment of basic supplies such as scissors, glue, and Expo markers to help them be active learners. We cut and glue daily when we work on activities such as word study sorts, science diagrams, math fractions, and social studies map skills. Art projects linked to literacy or content areas (or just for fun!) are made possible by donors like you.
My students do not have many opportunities at home to use basic art supplies.
Many of them do not own crayons. Please help support them as they learn well, have fun, and develop their artistic abilities.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
