Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
It is always the best feeling to start the year off with brand new crayons, colored pencils, markers, pencil case, sharpener, and scissors but not all students get to experience that joy. I am asking for these basic materials to help make my students' year in third grade wonderful. I believe that new supplies for the students would help motivate them to continue with their learning as they start a new school year.
Sometimes it is hard for students to afford the materials they need to start the school year.
If students are able to walk into their classroom on the first week of school to find brand new supplies that are actually theirs, this will light up their world and ease the burden of buying these materials on their own.
