My students are all such kind, sweet, caring, creative, and hilarious little bundles of joy who love to explore and learn. Our classroom provides a very loving, supportive learning environment that focuses on building positive relationships, modeling appropriate behavior, and working towards mastering academic and social/emotional goals.
My students have been identified as having an emotional/behavioral disorder, other health impaired, cognitive disability, and/or learning disability, and most come from low-income households and have traumatic backgrounds as well.
Many students participate in speech/language therapy and/or occupational therapy. It is my job (and pleasure) to ensure that my students have the support they need and learn the skills in order to be successful.
My Project
Heavily influenced by the pandemic, cleanliness is of its utmost importance for our students in school. Various supplies are necessary to ensure areas are clean and safe for interaction throughout the day. Disinfecting supplies has become part of our daily routine - by both staff members and students.
Please help provide supplies for my classroom which include hand sanitizer, tissues, disinfectant wipes, disinfectant spray, and children's face masks to my class in order to possibly reduce the chance of germs and/or sickness from spreading.
This will support the safe, clean learning environment and serve as examples to students of how we can prevent illness / stay healthy and strong.
