I have 17 amazing 5 and 6 year old students who continue to persevere through the challenges this pandemic brings. These kindergarteners have embraced technology and are currently learning letters, numbers, and words during our online classes. We have recently received news that we will be returning to face-to-face learning soon.
My Project
My kindergarten students are heading to school for the first time this school year and we are in need of some supplies to help with reading and the transition into in-person schooling.
Students will be wearing masks all day except for when eating and drinking.
Having lanyards for every student will keep students from losing their masks when it is removed.
My students are beginning to learn to read and having individual whisper phones for each student will help with their pronunciation, fluency, and ability to distinguish between similar sounds when we work on reading.
Lastly, in order to socially distance my students during this pandemic, I removed my teacher desk in order to make room for my students. I am in need of a place to store supplies that I use for teaching.
