My classroom is made up of 15 precious students with developmental delays, autism, and behavior disorders. Our classroom teaches children who are 5-8 years old in a self-contained classroom setting. My classroom students are so important to me and there is nothing that I would not do for them to become the best that they can be! They are full of life and have amazing spirits. Many of my students struggle on a daily basis with cognition, focusing, concentration, anxiety, and managing their emotions appropriately. It is my job to create a classroom environment that promotes a safe place to learn and grow through the school year.
My Project
These supplies for my students will help to enhance their learning experience in the classroom on a daily basis. Art supplies are an essential part of our classroom. Through different hands on projects I am able to make learning come alive for all of my students. Items such as play-doh, paint, googly-eyes, stamp pads, and other art supplies are fantastic tools for my students to manipulate and experience different sensory experiences to go along with their learning. These items will put a smile on the faces of 12 precious students in my classroom. Learning should be fun and this will help us achieve FUN!
