Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am privileged to teach 45 outstanding students. My students are very inquisitive, creative, and extremely clever. We are a Title I school where over two-thirds of the population receives free or reduced-price lunch. Even through adversity, these students are still resilient, excited, and enthused about learning.

Our school is very culturally diverse, extremely competitive, and we strive for excellence daily.

Willing, ready, and always trying to stand out above the rest, we need to produce competitive scholars for the future. We are shining stars and would love to shine with or above the rest.

My Project

Help my students have supplies at home for remote learning. My students need writing journals and pencil sharpeners for everyday normal learning and reading, writing and math practice from home.

These are daily materials the students will use in all subjects to complete class and home assignments.

In addition, each scholar will have a at home drawstring bag to keep their materials stored. An added plus for the students will be for the Cricut easy press to personalize their items.

These at home supplies will allow the scholars to continue to excel even during a pandemic. These supplies will also keep with one the guidelines of COVID-19 for students not to share or use community materials and resources.
