Do you remember always having your requested school supplies? Many students cannot afford the items requested on the school supply list.
My students are amazing learners, but many could not afford the more expensive items on the school supply list.
They all came with pencils and folders in hand, but many were missing the items that will aide in the full technology and group studies format that our classroom will follow. Our school has a variety of backgrounds and many were able to purchase needed supplies, but many more were unable.
My Project
The students will use the headphones and flash drives in our technology integration. They will also use the charting materials in our group project based learning opportunities. They will be able to create vocabulary words and definitions for our word wall (not teacher created) during one of their guided reading centers.
These donations will assist my classroom in being a full community.
Having all students have all requested materials will allow for no potential health issues (sharing headphones) and no worries about missing files (sharing flash drives). This will better allow my students to fly through the year, and not worry about what they are missing.
