I teach for the School District of Philadelphia. Funding can be limited, and I would like to provide the best tools for instruction for my future students.
Most students come with little or no supplies, and teachers are expected to pay out of pocket for these supplies.
Teachers and students are not given any supplies. With your help, my classroom and my students will be ready to start the new year fresh and ready to go, with out any worries, and all the materials we need!
My Project
Students need basic supplies to start of the school year on a good foot. These supplies include pencils, crayons, paper, notebooks, folders, etc. Some students come to school unprepared, and it leaves them feeling insecure and not ready to learn. With your donation, my classroom will be ready to start of the school year, with each kid having exactly what they need to be successful third graders! In our district, most supplies unfortunately just are not part of the budget. It is very difficult to buy enough supplies for thirty students and my classroom alone! Your donation will have my students ready to go!
