Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
One of my students decided he wants to be a lab technician when he grows up because he read an article about that career. I want ALL of my students to find amazing careers like this because of the experiences I can provide them in my math science classroom.
My students are amazing!
They love learning through images and videos to make the words on a page come alive. The Scholastic SuperScience subscription comes with amazing images and a digital edition with online resources. This great classroom magazine will help my students learn science concepts and develop their love for science.
My Project
My students will read the articles in SuperScience, discuss the concepts with their classmates, and write in response to their reading and discussions. They will make connections to the life, earth, and physical science topics that we are studying in class and may even find inspiration for their long-term investigations for our Science Fair!
Donations to this project will help my students develop their love for science.
My students love current events and will really enjoy reading about current events in science and being able to share their knowledge with friends, family, and our community!
