Help me give my students a variety of STEM toys to help enhance problem-solving skills, decision-making, enhance memory, and even improve sensation and perception.
STEM toys are based on the concepts of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEM toys can help increase children’s confidence in learning these subjects. When kids engage in these types of activities, it helps them realize that mastering math and science are attainable goals.
STEM toys provide children of all ages with opportunities for hands-on learning while encouraging natural curiosity.
The benefits of incorporating STEM toys into instruction are immeasurable! Some benefits include but are not limited to; helping students improve cognitive skills, enhance creative thinking and imagination, improve fine and gross motor skills, and build interpersonal skills. Research suggests that early exposure to STEM toys helps children build confidence in their own accomplishments and inspires them to keep learning.
My goal in preparing this project is to acquire a variety of STEM toys to enhance instruction as well as create daily building opportunities for my superheroes to enrich their developing cognitive skills, such as their logical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking.
