My students need access to vocabulary building materials. The subscription for Flocabulary and Vocabulary Listening Center will allow for my students to have daily access to fun and interactive vocabulary building activities.

I teach in a beautiful, public school in the heart of Baltimore City! My third-grade students are creative, energetic, and very thoughtful. They absolutely beam at opportunities to do hands-on and engaging projects. They come to school each day eager to learn and willing to take chances to grow academically and personally. I truly admire their tenacity, resilience, and charisma.
My students both support and challenge each other every day.
Particularly, their motivation to become successful readers is what makes them unique. This healthy competitive nature of the classroom makes fun and engaging. They LOVE to learn.
These vocabulary building materials will help to create the vocabulary-rich environment that I strive to create for my third-grade students. My students have a relatively low fund of vocabulary, likewise, I have noticed that this has had a negative impact on their reading proficiency.
My students need opportunities to build their vocabularies in fun and engaging ways.
The Vocabulary Listening Center will give my students the opportunity to not only practice listening to various vocabulary words, but to be able to engage in multiple levels of gaining vocabulary. The vocabulary building games will also keep them the most engaged because (as mentioned before) they LOVE to have fun learning. I want to provide my students with a fun resource to use, in hopes of promoting their academic growth.
In the past, Flocabulary has been a useful tool to promote vocabulary growth in my classroom. They can retain the information in a more impactful way through the use of Flocabulary. My students often enjoy dancing to the vocabulary songs and are most engaged when they can learn vocabulary in a creative way. This resource is essential for my students' growth in this skill!
