Help me give my students the materials, such as calculators, headphones, scissors, colored pencils, crayons, glue, dry erase boards, and markers to help our students have supplies they will need to complete homework assignments.
My school is located in a rural area and graduates about 50 students a year. We have a great staff that cares about all of our students and strive to help them succeed, and we have great kids that work hard to learn. We have gone through a lot of obstacles, transitions, and changes over the years, but our staff and students remain dedicated no matter the adversity and budget constraints we've faced. We continue to work to the best of our abilities with the resources we have on hand.
This is my first year co-teaching in a full inclusion classroom containing students with a wide range of personalities, talents, and abilities.
I strive to make my classroom a place where all feel safe and valued where they can explore new ideas and cultures that differ from their own. My classroom is also a place where our students are pushed to reach their maximum potential.
My Project
My project will give students access to a calendar, headphones, dry erase boards, crayons, scissors, glue, colored pencils, and markers to use in the classroom to help express their creativity.
The dry erase boards and task card holder will give the students access to different interactive activities in class that will engage them in learning.
The calendar will help the students stay organized to succeed in their classes. It will also teach them how to be responsible, and they can apply this in their future paths of life.
The headphones will be a huge help for the students who struggle with reading. They will have access to audio books and passages online that will read to them to help with their comprehension.
