Help me give my students the basics! They do not have socks to come to school in or knowledge of plants and healthy food. I also included a class set of books that we can read together.
My students are bright and clever! They live in the city and are involved in the community. They deserve so much and are so appreciative! They understand just how important it is to learn.
I have a great class this year and am happy to spend the year with them.
They love hands on activities incorporated into the day. They also love new fun stories that encourage them to grow their reading skills. The students inspire me every single day!
My Project
I added socks to the account because the children do not have any because they are seen as a "luxury." I am hoping to change that so they can be ready for the winter.
I included plants so that they can learn to grow them.
They have no knowledge of planting and I would like to change that and encourage healthy garden options.
I included a class set of books so that students can follow along with James and the Giant Peach. We are also going to a play later on in the year about this novel and I would like them to have the experience of reading it as well.
