Help me give my students a variety of school supplies such as folders, labels, and colored pencils to continue learning through the remainder of the school year.
My twenty-eight students are fourth graders in a high poverty elementary school. They have a wide range of abilities, needs, and concerns.
Even though my students may deal with struggles at home, they come to school every day ready and willing to be part of our family and learn what they can.
They want to do their best and prove that they are capable of being successful. They strive to be "The Best They Can Be" each and every day!
My Project
Every year, my students work diligently learning new concepts, mastering ones they already know, and building on their knowledge! With this, a list of supplies is required to support their learning.
Learning effectively requires one to have the appropriate supplies!
My students need new supplies to continue learning in the last half of the year. With the folders, labels, and colored pencils, my students will be able to learn at their best. Not having the necessary supplies means learning is affected. I want my students to have what they need and not have to worry about purchasing supplies.
In our classroom, we learn Language Arts and Social Studies concepts. As a result, folders, labels, and colored pencils are necessary for close reading. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how these supplies will be used! Thank you for supporting my students and their learning!
